Crunch 'n' Sip

Good For Kids is a healthy eating initiative which supports a vegetable, fruit and water break in class each morning – we call it “Crunch 'n' Sip”.

The program gives students access to water during school hours and also supports the implementation of Fresh Tastes @ School through our school canteen. So that all children can receive the educational and health benefits of this program parents are asked to provide their child with a snack of vegetable or fruit and a water bottle for Crunch 'n' Sip (usually 10:30am).

Going Green

Our students are environmentally aware and we are very proud of our vegetable gardens, water tanks, worm farms and compost bins.

We have fitted solar panels to parts of the school to generate power and monitor energy usage. The school’s lawns and garden beds are maintained in good order with rainwater from our water tanks.
