Dear Parents and Carers
We have had a very busy and exciting couple of weeks. Our school has been fortunate enough to receive a Building Grant from the Catholic Schools Office. Included in this grant is the construction of a new sick bay and uniform shop in the administration block, the roof, windows and decking of the administration block is being restored and all guttering around the school being repaired to assist with water run off around the school. We are expecting that this work will be completed by the end of the term.

Thanks Mark
During the last week of Term 3 and over the holidays our groundsman Mark Stepowikow renewed the grass on our top and middle fields. Thanks to Mark our students now have beautiful green grass to play on and they are loving it.

Tell Them From Me Survey
All parents/carers at St Joseph’s are invited to contribute to a community consultation survey. The survey has now been extended to 12 November 2021.
The survey is anonymous, voluntary and easy to use. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and covers parents’ perceptions of the school’s support for learning, positive behaviours, and the promotion of safety and inclusion.
Please consider taking some time to provide us with your valuable thoughts.

National Children’s Week

Children’s Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood. It is also a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and interests.
Designated by the nations of the world, Universal Children’s Day, Wednesday 27 October calls society to a greater response to the plight of many millions of children around the world who are denied the basic necessities of a happy childhood and the education to develop their capacities.
It also calls us in Australia to consider those conditions in society which affect the lives and future of our own children.
