Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all the families that took the time to fill out the Tell Them From Me Survey. I look forward to sharing your feedback and how it will inform our School Improvement Planning for 2025 and beyond.

Please ensure that if your child is arriving late to school that they report to the office with you upon arrival.
If you need to collect your child early, please report to the office and we will call them up for you. This ensures that we know where all our students are during the day.

Regional Spelling and Maths Bee
Last Wednesday we hosted the Manning Regional Spelling and Mathematics Finals. There was an extremely high standard of competition, and each final was tightly contested.
We were so proud of Jai, Finn, Susannah, Allysandra, Eleanor, and Willow who should be commended on the way they competed and represented our school to the very best of their abilities.
Congratulations to the Susannah will represent the Manning region at the Diocesan Finals.
Young Scriptwriters
Last week Tiana, Matilda Ryan and Eleanor spent the day at Holy Name in Forster. They are part of the ASPIRE Young Scriptwriters program. Students from across the Manning work together to learn about scriptwriting and work towards writing their own script which will be performed in Term 4. We look forward to watching the development of their scripts over the course of the year.
Cooking with Mrs Hunt
Congratulations to Axl who chose cooking with Mrs Hunt as a PBL reward. Axl made honey joys for his class to enjoy.
Congratulations Eleanor
Recently Eleanor travelled to Sydney to represent the Diocese in the NSWCPS Cross Country. Eleanor ran a fabulous race and finished third. She will now compete in the NSWPSSA Cross Country Championships. We are so excited for Eleanor and cannot wait to cheer her on.
Thank a First Responder Day
Every day we Make Jesus Real (MJR) by what we say and do! Last week we thanked some of our local first responders as part of "Thank a First Responder Day". Being thankful and showing gratitude to people who help us in our community was a great way to begin the day and MJR! Thank you to all our local first responders for serving our community.
Please join me in a prayer for all First Responders in our community.
Lord, I ask you through St. Michael the Archangel, to watch over all of the men and women who so generously devote themselves to helping others. Grant them courage when afraid, wisdom when they must make quick decisions, strength when weary, and compassion in all their work. When the alarm sounds and they are called to aid both friend and stranger, let them faithfully serve you in their neighbours. Amen.
God Bless
Mel Hunt

Congratulations goes to Mackenzie Wilmen (Week 7) and Aurora Minns (Week 8).

As part of our MJR system ,we acknowledge that the following students, Finn Atkins has reached 100 Gotchas; Axl Barbour-Williams has reached 200 Gotchas and Susannah Healy has reached 300 Gotchas. Well Done!
Infants Athletics Carnival - Kinder and Year 1
Kindergarten and Year One enjoyed various tabloid activities at school while the primary students participated in the Athletics Carnival in Taree. The students had a wonderful time participating in egg and spoon races, sack races, rob the nest, and tunnel ball. We finished with running races and enjoyed zooper doopers at lunch time. Thankyou to the parents who came along to support the infants athletics morning.
